GliaGen, LLC will develop and commercialize novel diagnostic and therapeutic technologies specifically tailored to treat neurodegenerative diseases. In the therapeutic area, we are developing novel treatments for neuroaffective disorders including Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s; as well as neurotrauma such as spinal cord injury. Our diagnostic products include a cell-based test kit useful for high throughput toxicology screening for drug discovery and cosmetics. These products will be marketed to hospitals, research institutes, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

GliaGen’s science has been developed by Drs. Leon Carlock and Maria Cypher from Wayne State University in Detroit.
